Liputan6.com, Jakarta - PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia (SSI) membantah keras tudingan dan penggambaran menyesatkan terkait perseroan serta PT Abadi Lestari Indonesia Tbk (RLCO) dalam sebuah artikel yang menyebutkan telah terjadi praktik transaksi semu atau manipulasi pasar untuk menciptakan persepsi palsu.

Samuel Sekuritas menegaskan tidak terlibat dalam perdagangan terkoordinasi, wash trading, penggunaan rekening nominee untuk menciptakan transaksi semu, maupun skema apa pun untuk memanipulasi harga atau volume perdagangan saham RLCO.

Dalam pernyataannya, dikutip Minggu (8/11/2026), Samuel Sekuritas menyebutkan bahwa harga saham RLCO naik dari Rp 168 pada hari perdana IPO, 8 Desember 2025, menjadi Rp 8.700 pada 20 Januari 2026. Laporan riset Samuel Sekuritas baru terbit setelahnya, yakni pada 26 Januari 2026. Karena itu, laporan tersebut tidak mungkin menjadi penyebab kenaikan harga sekitar 5.000 persen sebelumnya.

Samuel Sekuritas menegaskan tidak melakukan maupun mengizinkan wash trading, perdagangan terkoordinasi untuk memanipulasi harga, atau penggunaan rekening nominee guna merekayasa aktivitas pasar. Transaksi RLCO oleh Samuel Sekuritas pada periode terkait didominasi sisi beli, sejalan dengan posisi investasi jangka panjang.

Nasabah Samuel Sekuritas, termasuk investor berkekayaan bersih tinggi (high-net-worth), mengambil keputusan investasi secara mandiri. Perseroan tidak mengoordinasikan transaksi nasabah untuk memanipulasi harga saham.

Tudingan pelanggaran, menurut Samuel Sekuritas, harus dinilai berdasarkan bukti transaksi yang dapat diverifikasi dan melalui proses regulasi yang semestinya, bukan diperlakukan sebagai fakta berdasarkan sumber anonim.

Menurut Samuel Sekuritas, masuknya saham ke indeks MSCI bergantung pada kriteria kelayakan seperti kapitalisasi pasar, free float, dan likuiditas, bukan laporan riset sekuritas.

Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) telah memeriksa Samuel Sekuritas terkait IPO, riset, dan perdagangan RLCO. Sampai saat ini belum ada sanksi terhadap Samuel Sekuritas terkait RLCO. Samuel Sekuritas menghormati kewenangan pengawasan OJK dan siap bekerja sama dengan regulator.

Oleh karena itu, Samuel Sekuritas menolak disebut sebagai pelaku utama dalam dugaan “siasat MSCI”
